I was using a Logitech MX before but the MX is different since the buttons next to the scroll wheel are used to change the dpi up or down, which is a feature that is unique to this mouse model alone. Any issues can be reported here.

If all else fails, there’s always my good ole MX, which is pretty much exactly the same as the MX for how I use it.
But I don’t use Chrome at all, so that would explain why I’m not seeing the problems the OP expresses.

libux I’ve tried many different configurations and still can’t manage to get it to work. LL Redux does not recognize all of mouse buttons on Linux. My mouse configuration experience with Linux has pretty much been limited to getting the computer to see the mouse, so this isn’t my best area. If invoking a graphical window with root privileges, you should use gksu instead of sudo. I get nearly all of them working on ubuntu.
